Since early childhood she has been exposed to the nuisances and theatrics of acting with both her parents Roger Winslet and Sally Bridges-Winslet being stage actors and maternal grandparents Oliver and Linda Bridges owning the Reading Repertory Theatre. In fact her uncle, Robert Bridges, also a stage actor was a fixture in London's West End theatre district.
